Bio

Hey there, I’m Chris Purifoy. I'm a digital architect, author, and entrepreneur.

I love really hard problems and building strong tribes.

I've been lucky to work on some incredible projects with so many amazing people.  I'm currently the Architect and Cofounder of Learning Economy, a protocol designed to measurably solve the skills gap, and the CEO of WeLibrary, a platform aimed at reenergizing healthy civic discourse and pioneering Social Library algorithms that favor good ideas and critical thinking over sensationalism.

I sit on various councils including: UN Blockchain for Impact, U.S. Department of Education’s Blockchain Action Network, Facebook’s AI SDG Council, T3 Innovation Network, the Music Education Policy Roundtable, TEDxNashville, and TEDxVeniceBeach among others.

I speak in global forums about AI, blockchain, and the future of education and work. I love simplifying really complex, difficult problems and building strong tribes. I am also Partner and Sr. Editor for the Diplomatic Courier, with several articles published in the G7 & G20 annual publications. I’m also an author with books in stores around the world. You can read more about my journey as an author here.

Over the last decade I have built several startups from the ground up and led tech collaborations and contracts in government, global policy, non-profit, education, and entertainment. I also led information divisions as CIO for a UN circuit think tank, the Global Action Platform, and the Diplomatic Courier, a global policy & publishing leader.
